Data Entry is the transfer of some form of information into another environment, usually by entering data from the keyboard into a database of some program, such as Excel spreadsheets. Such companies will offer more pay and may offer certifications as well as require additional training.

In some cases, computers can automate data entry by reviewing scanned documents. These methods may eliminate some jobs altogether in the future, and as they continue to dwindle, data entry operators need to continually improve their skills.

Health hazards

This type of work requires constant attention and concentration, and is actually mentally and physically exhausting. For people with sedentary jobs, it’s important to maintain proper posture and take occasional breaks from the monitor screen, taking small breaks every hour. During this time, you can do a general whole-body workout to prevent various spinal and joint diseases.
